报告摘要：In this talk, we first recall the three equivalent definitions oftheTutte polynomial of graphs: rank generatingfunction, deletion-contraction definition and the maximal forests expansion. Then we give a detailed account of their generalizations to matroids. To unify the interior and exterior polynomials of hypergraphs,In 2022, Bernardi, Kalman and Postnikov introduced the polymatroid Tutte polynomial by generalizing the third definition of the Tutte polynomial and obtained a deletion-contraction relation for two special cases that generalizes the deletion-contraction formula of the classical Tutte polynomial. Recently we obtained a general deletion-contraction relation for the polymatroid Tutte polynomial based on the observation that certain natural ``slices'' of polymatroids are again polymatroids. Using deletion-contraction, several results on coefficients are obtained. This is a joint work with Xiaxia Guan and Tamas Kalman.

报告人简介

金贤安，厦门大学教授、博导，数学科学学院副院长。厦门大学本科和博士，北京大学博士后。主要从事图论、纽结论和数学化学等方面的研究工作，已在Forum Math. Sigma、JCTA、AAM, JGT等发表学术论文80多篇。先后主持国家自然科学基金项目4项，参加重点项目1项。曾应邀在美国第33届国际拓扑及其应用大会作50分钟报告等。曾获宝钢优秀教师奖（2021年）和国家教学成果二等奖（2018年）等。已指导博士后1人、访问学者4人，已培养博士生9人和硕士生21人。
